Bush, Fox, Mayan Ruins, the EU and the FTAA?

(M B, March 31, 2006.)

Cancun, Mexico. Bush and Fox tour together the ancient Mayan ruins...

After their tour, each leader spoke in his own language. Harper said the ruins were “a symbol here of our determination to build a new future for all inhabitants of North America.”

In a pre-trip interview, Bush said he thought the two sides were “pretty close to a deal a couple of years ago.” He said it would not be resolved through public negotiations: “It’s going to require some very quiet consultations.” (Article Link)

Isn’t it wonderful. Our socialist leaders are going to take us by the hand and show us how we, the little people need planners to live better. Standing where the Gadianton robbers once destroyed a civilization, stand two more determined to do it again.

For those who don’t know, the negotiations they’re talking about is the hemispheric-wide deceptively mis-named Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), which Bush wanted to pass more than a year ago, but didn’t have the votes. The FTAA will expand NAFTA and the recently passed CAFTA, which have already cost us our sovereignty in many ways, the most striking of which is the NAFTA tribunals which are completely unaccountable to Americans including our own court system. The accord states the two aggrieved parties can appeal to a United Nations panel. That was NAFTA. The FTAA has more explicitly stated that member nations must support the principles and purposes of the UN.

The FTAA is designed to unite all western hemisphere nations (with the current exception of Cuba) into exactly the kind of sovereignty-destroying arrangement that is costing the nations of the European Union their independence.

The European Union was presented as little more than “free-trade” agreement—the Common Market—which would “increase the prosperity of all nations, and lift all boats.” In 1970 British Prime Minister Edward Heath reassured the House of Commons: “There will not be a blueprint for a federal Europe.” In 1972 he stated again: “There is no question of any erosion of essential national sovereignty.” By 1992 Heath could afford to be candid. In an interview with the BBC Heath was asked, “The single currency; a United States of Europe; was that in your mind when you took Britain in?” Heath replied “Of course, yes!” Thereby indicting the Prime Minister as a liar and a traitor to his country.

So lets look at the EU. The EU now has its own constitution with 20,000 laws and 100,000 pages of legal text. It has its own currency, its own central bank, a military reaction force and a fledgling foreign policy. It has executive, legislative and judicial branches. It has its own EU flag, an EU anthem, Beethoven’s Ode to Joy, EU motto “Unity in Diversity”, EU passport, EU car license plates, EU Olympics, EU Youth Orchestra, and an annual EU day, May 9th. If this constitution is in fact adopted, by the nations of Europe who have already given up so much of their sovereignty, then they will in fact completely have abandoned it, and you will see the most dramatic consolidation of power in the history of the world. (John F. McManus)

President Bush is not just mis-informed, he is an evil, evil man—and we would know that if we would just be willing to admit that possibility and do some research. He would never have gotten where he is if he did not agree with the agenda of the society to which he belongs. —He is part of a conspiracy that means to rule the world. And you if you think that’s hokey, then you missed the part in the Book of Mormon where Moroni warned us that all such combinations seek to overthrow the freedom of “all LANDS, NATIONS and COUNTRIES”.

For those of us who may be waiting for the Second Coming to take care of everything for us, we have been warned that if we do not repent of our political sins, “there will be no exaltation for us spiritually, and politically we shall lose our liberty and free institutions.”

…unless the people of America forsake the sins and the errors, political and otherwise, of which they are now guilty and return to the practice of the great fundamental principles of Christianity, and of Constitutional government, there will be no exaltation for them spiritually, and politically we shall lose our liberty and free institutions. (Heber J. Grant also J. Reuben Clark, Jr. and David O. McKay signed as the First Presidency, written during World War II. Letter to the U.S. Treasury. September 30, 1941)

Not only this, but Christ warned the Gentiles that if they did not repent after having the blessings of self-government and receiving the Gospel, that the remnant of the Lamanites in this land would tread us down and tear us in pieces.

And I say unto you, that if the Gentiles do not repent after the blessing which they shall receive, after they have scattered my people—Then shall ye, who are a remnant of the house of Jacob, go forth among them; and ye shall be in the midst of them who shall be many; and ye shall be among them as a lion among the beasts of the forest, and as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goeth through both treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver. (Christ predicting one of the terrors to befall the Gentiles. 3 Nephi 20:15-16.)

Do we realize that as a result of our ignorance to principles of good government that we are creating the very things that will destroy us through amnesty and guest-worker bills? They will destroy us because they are not part of us, and anyone who doubts this needs but to look at the crisis that the immigrant Muslim population just caused in France because they were never required to become French.

Please, you don't have to listen to me—listen to the prophets for heavens sake! For our sake! There is work to be done!

Behold, it is expedient that much should be done among this people, because of the hardness of their hearts, and the deafness of their ears, and the blindness of their minds, and the stiffness of their necks; nevertheless, God is exceedingly merciful unto them, and has not as yet swept them off from the face of the land. (Jarom 1:3)
