Our Decline: Secret Combinations

Quotes

“Now I tell you it is time the people of the United States were waking up with the understanding that if they don’t save the Constitution from the dangers that threaten it, we will have a change of government.” (Joseph Fielding Smith, Conference Report, April 1950.)

“It was not my intention to doubt that, the Doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more truly satisfied of this fact than I am. The idea that I meant to convey, was, that I did not believe that the Lodges of Free Masons in this Country had, as Societies, endeavoured to propagate the diabolical tenets of the first, or pernicious principles of the latter (if they are susceptible of seperation). That Individuals of them may have done it, or that the founder, or instrument employed to found, the Democratic Societies in the United States, may have had these objects; and actually had a seperation of the People from their Government in view, is too evident to be questioned.” (George Washington, shortly before he died, read John Robison's book Proofs of a Conspiracy and immediately expressed his belief to the preacher who had sent it to him, that the designs of the Illuminati were infecting our country. Letter to Reverend G. W. Snyder, Writings of George Washington, p 518-519.)

“Their [schemes] strike at the root of all human happiness and virtue … [seeking] the overthrow of religion, government, and human society civil and domestic.” These conspirators, said Dwight, are so committed to their evil ends “that murder, butchery, and war, however extended and dreadful, are declared by them to be completely justifiable, if necessary for these great purposes.” (Yale Professor Timothy Dwight, speaking of the techniques of the Bavarian Illuminati which was revealed in John Robson's book Proofs of a Conspiracy, which outlined the known history of the society through the government-siezed documents and the testimony of those who were prosecuted. 1798.)

“The Latter-Day Saints have an advantage, in that they have been given a crutch to lean upon until they can stand on their own two feet with the facts of a conspiracy.” (M B, 2004.)

And they have caused the destruction of this people of whom I am now speaking, and also the destruction of the people of Nephi. And whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations, to get power and gain, until they shall spread over the nation, behold, they shall be destroyed; for the Lord will not suffer that the blood of his saints, which shall be shed by them, shall always cry unto him from the ground for vengeance upon them and yet he avenge them not. Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain—and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be. Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up. For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people, for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies; even that same liar who beguiled our first parents, yea, even that same liar who hath caused man to commit murder from the beginning; who hath hardened the hearts of men that they have murdered the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out from the beginning.” (Moroni, Ether 8:21-25, Book of Mormon)

“And it came to pass that they formed a secret combination, even as they of old; which combination is most abominable and wicked above all, in the sight of God.” (Moroni, Ether 8:18, Book of Mormon)

Moroni, giving us words of council after the fall of his civilization: “Condemn me not because of mine imperfection, neither my father, because of his imperfection, neither them who have written before him; but rather give thanks unto God that he hath made manifest unto you our imperfections, that ye may learn to be more wise than we have been.” (Moroni, Mormon 9:31, Book of Mormon)

“ And it came to pass...that the Nephites did build them up and support them, beginning at the more wicked part of them, until they had overspread all the land of the Nephites, and had seduced the more part of the righteous until they had come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils, and to join with them in their secret murders and combinations. And thus they did obtain the sole management of the government, insomuch that they did trample under their feet and smite and rend and turn their backs upon the poor and the meek, and the humble followers of God. And thus we see that they were in an awful state, and ripening for an everlasting destruction.” (Mormon, Helaman 6:38-40, Book of Mormon)

“And behold, that great city Jacobugath, which was inhabited by the people of king Jacob, have I caused to be burned with fire because of their sins and their wickedness, which was above all the wickedness of the whole earth, because of their secret murders and combinations; for it was they that did destroy the peace of my people and the government of the land; therefore I did cause them to be burned, to destroy them from before my face, that the blood of the prophets and the saints should not come up unto me any more against them.” (Scriptural, The voice of the Lord speaking to the people of Nephi after earthquakes and destruction 3 Nephi 9:9, Book of Mormon)

“I testify that wickedness is rapidly expanding in every segment of our society. It is more highly organized, more cleverly disguised, and more powerfully promoted than ever before. Secret combinations lusting for power, gain, and glory are flourishing. A secret combination that seeks to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries is increasing its evil influence and control over America and the entire world.(Ezra Taft Benson, during the very same time that the world was celebrating the collapse of communism I Testify, Ensign, p. 87. November 1988.)

“Joseph Smith said that the Book of Mormon was the ‘keystone of our religion’ and the ‘most correct’ book on earth. This most correct book on earth states that the downfall of two great American civilizations came as a result of secret conspiracies whose desire was to overthrow the freedom of the people. ‘And they have caused the destruction of this people of whom I am now speaking,’ says Moroni, ‘and also the destruction of the people of Nephi.’ Now undoubtedly Moroni could have pointed out many factors that led to the destruction of the people, but notice how he singled out the secret combinations, just as the Church today could point out many threats to peace, prosperity, and the spread of God’s work, but it has singled out the greatest threat as the godless conspiracy. There is no conspiracy theory in the Book of Mormon — it is a conspiracy fact.” (Ezra Taft Benson, Civic Standards for the Faithful Saints, Ensign, p 59. July 1972.)

“When my son, Reed, was invited to be a state coordinator for the John Birch Society, he asked me if he should accept it. I had read the Blue Book and other basic materials of the Society. I had met Mr. Welch and other leaders and members. I had read Mr. Welch’s famous letter which has since been published in book form entitled The Politician. I knew Reed would be enrolling in an unpopular cause. I also knew he would receive a certain amount of vilification if he took this job. Nevertheless, I told him to go ahead if he thought this was the most effective way to defend the Constitution and fight the Socialist-Communist menace.…When he joined I expressed my opinion that I was convinced that the John Birch Society was the most effective non-church organization in our fight against creeping Socialism and godless Communism.…Some people have told me this was not good strategy, but I disagree. I feel it is always good strategy to stand up for the right, even when it is unpopular. Perhaps I should say, ESCPECIALLY when it is unpopular.(Ezra Taft Benson, December 19, 1963.)

“The Book of Mormon narrative is a chronicle of nations long since gone. But in its descriptions of the problems of today's society, it is as current as the morning newspaper and much more definitive, inspired, and inspiring concerning the solutions of those problems.

“I know of no other writing which sets forth with such clarity the tragic consequences to societies that follow courses contrary to the commandments of God. Its pages trace the stories of two distinct civilizations that flourished on the Western Hemisphere. Each began as a small nation, its people walking in the fear of the Lord. But with prosperity came growing evils. The people succumbed to the wiles of ambitious and scheming leaders who oppressed them with burdensome taxes, who lulled them with hollow promises, who countenanced and even encouraged loose and lascivious living. These evil schemers led the people into terrible wars that resulted in the death of millions and the final and total extinction of two great civilizations in two different eras.(Gordon B. Hinckley, also stated verbatim in his 1981 work Be Thou an Example. First Presidency Message, Ensign, August 2005.)

“Reduced to its lowest terms, the great struggle which now rocks the whole earth more and more takes on the character of a struggle of the individual versus the state. . . . Do not think that all these usurpations, intimidations, and impositions are being done to us through inadvertency or mistake, the whole course is deliberately planned and carried out; its purpose is to destroy the Constitution and our Constitutional government....We have lost the conflict so far waged. But there is time to win the final victory, if we sense our danger, and fight.” (J. Reuben Clark, America Faces Freedom-Slavery Issue, Church News, September 25, 1949.)

“Brethren, let us think about that, because I say unto you with all the soberness I can, that we stand in danger of losing our liberties, and that once lost, only blood will bring them back; and once lost, we of this Church will, in order to keep the Church going forward, have more sacrifices to make and more persecutions to endure than we have yet known, heavy as our sacrifices and grievous as our persecutions of the past have been.” (J. Reuben Clark, Conference Report, p 116. April 1944.)

“In May 1862, at the beginning of the Civil War, in correlation with Joseph Smith's prophecy on Civil War, Orson Hyde, the apostle who dedicated the land of Palestine for the return of the Jews, made a startling prediction which has been literally fulfilled in this century. He stated: "You have scarcely yet read the preface of your national troubles. Many nations will be drawn into the American maelstrom that now whirls through the land; and after many days, when the demon of war shall have exhausted his strength and madness upon American soil, by the destruction of all that can court or provoke opposition, excite cupidity, inspire revenge, or feed ambition, he will remove his headquarters to the banks of the Rhine.” (Orson Hyde, Millennial Star XXIV, p 274. May 1862.)

“Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.” (Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia, 1785.)

“We live in dangerously troubled times. The values that steadied mankind in earlier times are being tossed away. We must not ignore Moroni 's words when he saw our day and said, ‘Ye [must] awake to a sense of your awful situation’”
(Boyd K. Packer, General Conference Address, April 2004.)

“the appalling thing in the French Revolution is not the tumult but the design. Through all the fire and smoke we perceive the evidence of calculating organization. The managers remain studiously concealed and masked; but there is no doubt about their presence from the first.” (Lord Acton, Lectures on the French Revolution, p. 97.)

“And I give unto you a commandment that you shall teach one another...in all things...that are expedient for you to understand; Of things both in heaven and in the earth, and under the earth; things which have been, things which are, things which must shortly come to pass; things which are at home, things which are abroad; the wars and the perplexities of the nations, and the judgments which are on the land; and a knowledge also of countries and of kingdoms—that ye may be prepared in all things” (Scriptural, Doctrine and Covenants, 88:77-79.)

“They have infiltrated every conceivable sphere of activity: youth groups; radio, T.V. and motion picture industries ; church, school, educational and cultural groups; the press; nationality minority groups and civil and political units.” (FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, testimony before the House Committee on Appropriations regarding the communist conspiracy The Elders of Israel and the Constitution, p. 166. March 6, 1961.)

“I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations.... This danger ought to be wisely guarded against.” (James Madison, Debates in the State Conventions, 3:87.)

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy” (Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope, 1966.)

“There are those, our Heavenly Father, both within and without our borders, who would destroy the constitutional form of government which thou hast so magnanimously given us, and would replace it with a form that would curtail, if not altogether deprive, man of his free agency....We pray thee that thou wilt inspire good and just men everywhere to be willing to sacrifice for, support, and uphold the Constitution and the government set up under it and thereby preserve for man his agency....We pray that kings and rulers and the peoples of all nations under heaven may be persuaded of the blessings enjoyed by the people of this land by reason of their freedom under thy guidance and be constrained to adopt similar governmental systems, thus to fulfil the ancient prophecy of Isaiah that '. . . out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.' ” (George Albert Smith, Idaho Falls Temple Dedicatory Prayer)

“And so tyranny naturally rises out of democracy, and the most aggravated form of tyranny and slavery out of the most extreme form of liberty.… The people have always some champion whom they set over them and nurse into greatness.… This and no other is the root from which a tyrant springs; when he first appears above ground he is a protector… At first, at the early days of his power, he is full of smiles, and he salutes everyone whom he meets — he to be called a tyrant, who is making promises in public and also in private liberating debtors, and distributing land to the people and his followers, and wanting to be so kind and good to everyone … then he is always stirring up some war or other, in order that the people may require a leader.… Has he not also another object, which is that they may be impoverished by the payment of taxes and thus compelled to devote themselves to their daily wants and therefore less likely to conspire against him?… Thus liberty, getting out of all order and reason, passes into the harshest and bitterest form of slavery.” (Plato, The Republic, VIII.)

“Our families may be corrupted by worldly trends and teachings unless we know how to use the [Book of Mormon] to expose and combat the falsehoods in socialism, organic evolution, rationalism, humanism, and so forth.…And our nation will continue to degenerate unless we read and heed the words of the God of this land, Jesus Christ, and quit building up and upholding the secret combinations which the Book of Mormon tells us proved the downfall of both previous American civilizations.(Ezra Taft Benson, A Witness and a Warning: A Modern-Day Prophet Testifies of the Book of Mormon, p. 80. January 1988.)

“Give me control over a nation's currency, and I care not who makes the laws.” (Baron Mayer Amschel Rothschild)

“Next Moroni turns the key so that all who have ears to hear can understand what the secret combination is and can identify those who build it up. ‘For it cometh to pass,’ he says, ‘that whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries.’ This is a worldwide conspiracy.” (Elder Bruce R. McConkie, Millennial Messiah, p. 66.)

“The world wishes to be deceived.” (Sebastian Franck, 1500.)

“Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.” (President Woodrow Wilson, The New Freedom, 1913.)

“Yet the individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to a realization of the evil which has been introduced into our midst. It rejects even the assumption that human creatures could espouse a philosophy which must ultimately destroy all that is good and decent.” (FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, The Elks Magazine, August 1956.)

“In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.” (Franklin Delano Roosevelt)

“Consistency has never been the mark of stupidity. If the diplomats who have mishandled our relations with Russia were merely stupid, they would occasionally make a mistake in our favor.” (James Forrestal)

“For it is a truth, which the experience of all ages has attested, that the people are commonly most in danger when the means of injuring their rights are in the possession of those of whom they entertain the least suspicion.” (Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers, No. 25.)

“Schemes to subvert the liberties of a great community require time to mature them for execution.” (Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers, No. 26.)

“[In the minutes of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace about 1911] the trustees raised a question. ‘Is there any means known to man more effective than war, assuming you wish to alter the life of an entire people?’ [A]t the end of the year, they came to the conclusion that there was no more effective means to that end known to man. So, then they raised question number two, and the question was, ‘How do we involve the United States in a war?’” (Research Director for the House of Representatives Norman Dodd, Weak Link: The Feminization of the American Military, 1953.)

“…perhaps Communists had wormed their way so deeply into our government on both the working and planning levels that they were able to exercise an inordinate degree of power in shaping the course of America…I could not help wondering and worrying whether we were faced with open enemies across the conference table and hidden enemies who sat with us in our most secret councils.” (General Mark Clark, commenting on the failure of the Korean War)

“We are witnessing an outbreak of shortsighted nationalism that seems oblivious to the economic, political and moral implications of interdependence.… The ‘house of world order’ will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down…, an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault…” (Richard N. Gardner, The Hard Road to World Order, Foreign Affairs, April 1974.)

“The real menace of our republic is the invisible government which, like a giant octopus, sprawls its slimy length over our city, state and nation. At the head is a small groups of banking houses generally referred to as ‘international bankers.’ This little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run our government for their own selfish ends.” (New York City Mayor John F. Hylan, March 26, 1922.)

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.…” (Franklin Delano Roosevelt, November 21, 1933.)

“The word ‘Establishment’ is a general term for the power elite in international finance, business, the professions and government, largely from the northeast, who wield most of the power regardless of who is in the White House. Most people are unaware of the existence of this ‘legitimate Mafia.’ Yet the power of the Establishment makes itself felt from the professor who seeks a foundation grant, to the candidate for a cabinet post or State Department job. It affects the nation's policies in almost every area.” (Edith Kermit Roosevelt, Elite Clique Holds Power in U.S., Indianapolis News, p. 6. December 23, 1961.)

“He gave us, in a time when our race is woefully in need of such restoratives, the vision of a man. Of that there is no more doubt than of his great place in history” (Max Eastman, extolling Leon Trotsky The Character and Fate of Leon Trotsky, Foreign Affairs, p. 332. January 1941.)

“The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences.” (Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope, p. 324. 1966.)

“[T]here was an occasion, near the close of 1910, when I was as secretive—indeed, as furtive—as any conspirator....I do not feel it is any exaggeration to speak of our secret expedition to Jekyll Island as the occasion of the actual conception of what eventually became the Federal Reserve System.…We were told to leave our last names behind us. We were told, further, that we should avoid dining together on the night of our departure. We were instructed to come one at a time and as unobtrusively as possible to the railroad terminal on the New Jersy littoral of the Hudson, where Senator Aldrich's private car would be in readiness, attached to the rear end of a train for the South.…Once aboard the private car we began to observe the taboo that had been fixed on last names.…Discovery, we knew, simply must not happen, or else all our time and effort would be wasted.” (Frank Vanderlip, twenty-five years after the meeting on Jekyll Island, Georgia conspiring to establish the Federal Reserve in the U.S. Farm Boy to Financier, Saturday Evening Post, pp. 25, 70. February 9, 1935.)

“They [the founders] saw about them, with increasing clarity, not merely mistaken, or even evil, policies violating the principles upon which freedom rested, but what appeared to be evidence of nothing less than a deliberate assault launched surreptitiously by plotters against liberty both in England and America.” (Harvard Historian Bernard J. Bailyn, in his Pulitzer Prize-winning book The Ideological Origins of the American Revolution)

“It was not accidental. It was a carefully contrived occurrence.…The international bankers sought to bring about a condition of despair here so that they might emerge as rulers of us all.” (Congressman Louis McFadden, chairman of the House Banking Committee referring to the Great Depression On The Federal Reserve Corporation, p. 95.)

“There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical Right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960's, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies…but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known.” (Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley, Tragedy & Hope: A History of the World in Our Time, p. 950. 1964.)

“We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order, a world where the rule of law, not the rule of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this new world order, an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.'s founders.” (George H. W. Bush, January 16, 1991.)

“If the warning we are issuing isn't heeded, the American people will surely find themselves in bondage. And children of the future who ask their parents why such a fate wasn't prevented will receive little more than guilt-ridden and totally deficient responses.” (John F. McManus, Financial Terrorism, November 1993.)

“In the international field, foundations, and an interlock among some of them and certain intermediary organizations, have exercised a strong effect upon our foreign policy and upon public education in things international. This has been accomplished by vast propaganda, by supplying executives and advisers to government and by controlling much research in this area through the power of the purse. The net result of these combined efforts has been to promote ‘internationalism’ in a particular sense—a form directed toward ‘world government’ and a derogation of American ‘nationalism.’ [The CFR has become] in essence an agency of the United States Government [and its] productions are not objective but are directed overwhelmingly at promoting the globalist concept.” (Findings of the Eighty-Third Congress to investigate the subversive funding activities of some of the biggest and best-known tax-exempt foundations (Ford, Rockefeller, Carnegie, etc.). The investigation led also to the CFR, which was, and is, thoroughly intertwined with these foundations. Foundations: Their Power and Influence, July 1953.)

“I voiced a warning against what we then knew as Bolshevism and Socialism, and what we now know as Communism. I thought I saw it coming, and it came.…And there is nothing that we should not do to preserve this country, and its liberties, and its free institutions.
…if [the conspiracy] comes here it will probably come in its full vigor and there will be a lot of vacant places among those who guide and direct, not only this government, but also this Church of ours.” (J. Reuben Clark, Conference Report, p. 80. April 1952.)

“…We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement…we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves….” (Scriptural, Isaiah 28:15.)

“For so great had been the spreading of this wicked and secret society that it had corrupted the hearts of all the people;(Moroni, The Book of Mormon, Ether 9:6)

“It is an imperative duty that we owe to God, to angels, with whom we shall be brought to stand, and also to ourselves, to our wives and children…Therefore it is an imperative duty that we owe, not only to our own wives and children, but to the widows and fatherless, whose husbands and fathers have been murdered under its iron hand…And also it is an imperative duty that we owe to all the rising generation, and to all the pure in heart…Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven—These should then be attended to with great earnestness. Let no man count them as small things; for there is much which lieth in futurity, pertaining to the saints, which depends upon these things.” (Scriptural, The Lord used very strong language in relation to the libelous publications, magazines, encyclopedias, histories that were being published about the saints, which were causing “diabolical rascality and nefarious and murderous impositions upon the saints.” The quotes from the prophets on this site constitute “wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven.” Doctrine & Covenants, 123:7-15. March 1839.)

“When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.” (Edmund Burke, April 23, 1770.)

“At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it? Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow?

“All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined...with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.

“At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.” (Abraham Lincoln, 1838.)

“Timely references and appropriate warnings have been given during this Conference on the danger and evils of war. There is another danger even more menacing than the threat of invasion of a foreign foe. It is the unpatriotic activities and underhanded scheming of disloyal groups and organizations within our own borders. This country is so situated geographically that there need be little fear of invasion by an outside enemy. Furthermore, the government knowing who and where the enemy is can make ample preparation to meet his attacks. But the secret, seditious scheming of an enemy within our own ranks, hypocritically professing loyalty to the government, and at the same time plotting against it, is more difficult to deal with.” (David O. McKay, Conference Report, pp. 102-103. October 1939.)

Of Course There Is A Conspiracy  There are many today who loudly proclaim that there is no conspiracy in this country seeking the destruction of the American constitutional system. It is a tribute to the power of propaganda over common sense that anyone would seriously believe that there is not a massive subversive conspiracy at work in this country. The typical method of socialist conquest, whether in the name of communism or some other name, is by infiltration and subversion. The United States is both the greatest potential obstacle to socialist conquest of the world, and the greatest prize to conquer. With these facts in mind, it is unthinkable that there would not be a tremendous conspiratorial effort put forth to immobilize and to conquer America.” (Jerome Horowitz, The Elders of Israel and the Constitution, p. 166. 1970.)

And it came to pass on the other hand, that the Nephites did build them (Gadianton Band) up and support them, beginning at the more wicked part of them, until they had overspread all the land of the Nephites, and had seduced the more part of the righteous until they had come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils, and join with them in their secret murders and combinations. (Heleman 6:38)

“It may seem incredible that the righteous Nephites could have been seduced into accepting the doctrines and practices of a group which the Nephite prophets called robbers. How blind can people be? Before we judge them too harshly let us look at our own predicament.

“Every modern day prophet from Joseph Smith to President McKay has condemned Communism and Socialism as satanic system of plunder by government, and yet how many Latter-day Saints have come down to accept and believe in those very welfare state practices which the Communist Manifesto proposes to bring about socialism? How many believe in and accept the government bonus, the subsidy, the welfare check, the minimum wage, and the monopolistic protection which the police power gives them? Is it not obvious that we also have come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils?” (H. Verlan Andersen, Many are Called But Few are Chosen)

“Having been commanded by the Lord to do so, Nephi boldly told the people that they had united themselves to this band of robbers:

Yea wo be unto you because of that great abomination which has come among you; and ye have united yourselves unto it, yea to that secret band which was established by Gadianton! (Helaman 7:25)

“One can only imagine that those righteous Nephites who has been seduced into upholding, supporting, and partaking of the spoils of the Robbers were profoundly shocked when charged with having united with a criminal conspiracy. People in our nation today are ofttimes startled and angered when told that the welfare state practices they favor are the identical political programs proposed by the Communists to bring about socialism….The record is clear that the reason the conspiracy had succeeded in capturing control of the government was that the Nephites had been seduced into partaking of its spoils. (Helaman 6:38–39)” (H. Verlan Andersen, Many are Called But Few are Chosen)

“The methods followed by the various groups interested in blacking out the truth about world affairs since 1932 are numerous and ingenious. But, aside from subterranean persecution of individuals, they fall mainly into the following patterns or categories: (1) Excluding scholars suspected of revisionist [meaning opposed to the conspiracy-control led establishment] views from access to public documents which are freely opened to 'court historians', and other apologists for the foreign policy of President Franklin Roosevelt; (2) Intimidating publishers of books and periodicals, so that even those who might wish to publish books and articles setting forth the revisionist point of view, do not dare to do so; (3) Ignoring or obscuring published material which embodies revisionist facts and arguments; and (4) Smearing revisionist authors and their books….

“As a matter of fact, only two small publishing houses in the United States—the Henry Regnery Company and the Devin-Adair Company—have shown any consistent willingness to publish books which frankly aim to tell the truth with respect to the causes and issues of the second World War. Leading members of the two largest publishing houses in the country have told me that, whatever their personal wishes in the circumstances, they would not feel it ethical to endanger their business and the property rights of their stockholders by publishing critical books relative to American foreign policy since 1933. And there is good reason for this hesitancy. The book clubs and the main sales outlets for books are controlled by powerful pressure groups which are opposed to truth on such matters. These outlets not only refuse to market critical books in this field, but also threaten to boycott other books by those publishers who defy their blackout ultimatum.” (Dr. Harry Elmer Barnes Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace, pp. 15-16, 18. 1953.)

“The major American news media have ignored what is happening in Afghanistan and they have also ignored Afghans like me who try to tell what is happening. But the smaller newspapers and radios and TV stations have been very cooperative.…

“Every day, hundreds or thousands of my people are killed and the networks and major news media say nothing. But if one person is killed in South Africa, immediately the media start screaming.…

“I have talked to many, many people here in the United States, many of them refugees from Communist countries themselves and they cannot believe the things they see in the major news media. They say that American news media are on the other side. Much of the time, I am forced to believe that they are correct.” (Abdul Shams who was the economic advisor to Afghanistan's President Hfizullah Amin, described the media in relation to the Soviet attacks on his country which slaughtered over one million people and turned millions more into refugees. The Review of the News, 1985.)

“Mr. Dodd, all of us here at the policy-making level have had experience, either in the O.S.S. or the European Economic Administration, with directives from the White House. We operate under those directives here. Would you like to know what those directives are? [Dodd, replying in the affirmative, Gaither continued: ] The substance of them is that we shall use our grant-making power so to alter our life in the United States that we can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.” (H. Rowan Gaither, as reported by Norman Dodd, the director of the Congressionally established Reece Committee to investigate subersive activities of the tax exempt foundations. 1953.)

“Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of a day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers, to plainly prove a deliberate systematical plan of reducing us to slavery.” (Thomas Jefferson, Rights of British America, ME 1:193, Papers 1:125. July 1774.)

“[The Constitution] is the keystone of our nation. It is the guarantee of our liberty. That original document, with the Bill of Rights, constitutes the charter of our freedom. Through all of the years that have followed we have had some ambitious men who have sought to subvert the great principles of the Constitution...” (Gordon B. Hinckley, Keep Faith with America, May 6, 1999.)

“Let every loyal member of the Church look down with scorn upon any man or woman who would undermine [the] Constitution.” (David O. McKay, Church News, May 29, 1954.)

“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH….And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” (Scriptural, Anciently the nation of Babylon ruled openly, oppressing her subjects. In the last days before the Second Coming, John reveals to us that Babylon is a city, which rules the kings of the earth secretly. MYSTERY is translated from the Greek work μυστηριον or musterion which carries the idea of silence or secrecy imposed by initiation into religious rites. μυω (muo) it’s root word, means to shut the mouth. Revelation, 17:5,18.)

CNN Correspondent Christine Romans: “Plans for an integrated North American community by 2010, moving ahead swiftly and under the radar. Robert Pastor is an author of the Council on Foreign Relations document, seen as the project’s road map…. Robert Pastor says a more open public discussion would quiet what he calls conspiracy theorists….Just yesterday Congressman Virgil Goode of Virginia introduced a resolution opposing a NAFTA superhighway and various elements of a North American Union, as the critics call it. And Robert Pastor, Lou, he says, you’re one of those critics, you’re part of a conspiracy theory that just is not founded.”

Lou Dobbs responded: “That I’m a conspiracy theorist? Well, I — that’s very flattering on the part of Mr. Pastor. What he is, is an out of control elitist, who hasn’t been elected or is in any way nominated by this government to do a darn thing that he’s doing. And the fact that this administration and some of this country’s largest corporations are pushing ahead with this, with some of Canada’s leading elites and Mexico’s — there’s not a single thing in this that even remotely has legitimacy and the fact that this Congress, thank goodness that Virgil Goode stepped up here, the fact that this Congress is not demanding an investigation into this right now is sickening. This is elitism run rampant and it’s just — to me, it’s just inexplicable why it’s being tolerated.”

“As we seek to understand the causes of wars, persecutions, and civil strife, we can see that they are almost always rooted in wickedness.

“The mass-murders of the twentieth century are among the bloodiest crimes ever committed against humanity. We can hardly comprehend the magnitude of the Nazi holocaust murders of over five million Jews in Europe, Stalin’s purges and labor camps that killed five to ten million in the Soviet Union, and the two to three million noncombatants who were killed or who died of hunger in the Biafran War.

“All of these slaughters, and others like them, were rooted in the ancient wickedness Satan taught—that a man could murder to get gain. (See Moses 5:31) The mass-murderers of this century killed to acquire property and to secure power over others.”

[“And Satan said unto Cain: Swear unto me by thy throat, and if thou tell it thou shalt die; and swear thy brethren by their heads, and by the living God, that they tell it not; for if they tell it, they shall surely die; and this that thy father [Adam] may not know it; and this day I will deliver thy brother Abel into thine hands. And Satan sware unto Cain that he would do according to his commands. And all these things were done in secret. And Cain said: Truly I am Mahan, the master of this great secret, that I may murder and get gain. Wherefore Cain was called Master Mahan, and he gloried in his wickedness” (Moses 5:29-31)] (Dallin H. Oaks, Wealthy Wall Street elitists, enabled and empowered these and many other mass murderers. The documentation for this can be found in several books including the works of Antony Sutton. World Peace, Ensign, May 1990.)

“This [the SPP] is totally outside the U.S. Constitution, virtually an executive branch coup d'etat.” (Dr. Jerome Corsi)

“And again, I say unto you that the enemy in the secret chambers seeketh your lives. Ye hear of wars in far countries, and you say that there will soon be great wars in far countries, but ye know not the hearts of men in your own land.” (Scriptural, Doctrine and Covenants, 38:28-29. January 2, 1831.)

“The people never give up their liberties but under some delusion.” (Edmund Burke)

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel.” (Patrick Henry)

“There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.” (Henry David Thoreau)

“Justice being taken away, what are kingdoms but vast robberies?” (St. Augustine describing the nature of a corrupted government.)

“I wish to say with all the earnestness I possess that when [you] see any curtailment of these liberties I have named, when you see government invading any of these realms of freedom which we have under our Constitution, you will know that they are putting shackles on your liberty, and that tyranny is creeping upon you, no matter who curtails these liberties or who invades these realms, and no matter what the reason and excuse therefore may be.” (J. Reuben Clark, Improvement Era, 1940.)

“…encroachments on the peoples' liberties are not generally made all at once, but so gradually as hardly to be perceived by the less watchful; and all plaistered over, it may be, with such plausible pretenses, that before they are aware of the snare, they are taken and cannot disentangle themselves.” (Samuel Adams, 1777.)

“Is the Book of Mormon true? Yes.
Who is it for? Us.
What is its purpose? To bring men to Christ.
How does it do this? By testifying of Christ and revealing his enemies.” (Ezra Taft Benson, The Book of Mormon Is the Word of God, Ensign, p. 63. May 1975.)

“The people of every country are the only safe guardians of their own rights, and are the only instruments which can be used for their destruction. And certainly they would never consent to be so used were they not deceived.” (Thomas Jefferson, to John Wyche 1809.)

“Practically all of the civil and ecclesiastical establishments of Europe have already been shaken to their foundations by this terrible organization; the French Revolution itself is doubtless to be traced to its machinations; the successes of the French armies are to be explained on the same ground. The Jacobins are nothing more nor less than the open manifestation of the hidden system of the Illuminati. The Order has its branches established and its emissaries at work in America. The affiliated Jacobin Societies in America have doubtless had as the object of their establishment the propagation of the principles of the illuminated mother club in France...I hold it a duty, my brethren, which I owe to God, to the cause of religion, to my country and to you, at this time, to declare to you, thus honestly and faithfully, these truths. My only aim is to awaken you and myself a due attention, at this alarming period, to our dearest interests. As a faithful watchman I would give you warning of your present danger.” (Reverend Jedidiah Morse, May 9, 1798.)

“An association has been formed for the express purpose of rooting out all the religious establishments, and overturning all the existing governments...that the leaders might rule the world with uncontroulable power, while all the rest [are] employed as mere tools of the ambition of their unknown superiors. ” (John Robison, Proofs of a Conspriacy, p.7-8. 1798.)

“Shall our sons become the disciples of Voltaire and the dragoons of Murat, or our daughters, the concubines of the Illuminati?” (Yale Professor Timothy Dwight)

“That these societies were instituted by the artful and designing members (many of their body I have no doubt mean well, but know little of the real plan,) primarily to sow the seeds of jealousy and distrust among the people, of the government, by destroying all confidence in the Administration of it; and that these doctrines have been budding and blowing ever since, is not new to any one, who is acquainted with the characters of their leaders, and has been attentive to their manoeuvres. I early gave it as my opinion to the confidential characters around me, that, if these Societies were not counteracted (not by prosecutions, the ready way to make them grow stronger) or did not fall into disesteem from the knowledge of their origin, and the views with which they had been instituted by their father, Genet, for purposes well known to the Government; that they would shake the government to its foundation. Time and circumstances have confirmed me in this opinion, and I deeply regret the probable consequences…because I see, under a display of popular and fascinating guises, the most diabolical attempts to destroy the best fabric of human government and happiness, that has ever been presented for the acceptance of mankind.

“A part of the plan for creating discord, is, I perceive, to make me say things of others, and others of me, wch. have no foundation in truth. The first, in many instances I know to be the case; and the second I believe to be so; but truth or falsehood is immaterial to them, provided their objects are promoted.” (George Washington, referring to the democratic societies established by French ambassador and Illuminist agent Edmond-Charles Genêt, which incited popular uprisings against the government and fomented the Whiskey Rebellion, attempting to replicate the horror of the French Revolution in the newly created United States. The Writings of George Washington, vol. 33. August 26, 1794.)

“You certainly never felt the terrorism, excited by Genet, in 1793, when ten thousand people in the streets of Philadelphia, day after day, threatened to drag Washington out of his house, and effect a revolution in the government… nothing but [a miracle] could have saved the United States from a total revolution of government.” (John Adams, in a letter to Thomas Jefferson. June 30, 1813.)

“[these] democratic clubs [were] so perfectly affiliated with the Parisian Jacobins that their origin from a common parent cannot possibly be mistaken.” (John Quincy Adams, 1825.)

“Certain we are, that no book has appeared since the commencement of our labours, which was more necessary to be read, and weighted attentively, by every person of any property, whether hereditary or commercial; every person holding any rank in society; and every person who has within him a spark of zeal, either for the honour of God or the welfare of mankind.” (Edmund Burke, regarding Abbe Augustin Barruel's work Memoirs Illustrating the History of Jacobinism. A four volume work detailing the history, methods and means of the secret combination started by Adam Weishaupt, known as the Order of the Illuminati. Application of Barruel’s Memoirs of Jacobinism to the Secret Societies of Ireland and Great Britain, London: E. Booker)

“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly — it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.” (Joseph Goebbels)

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” (Joseph Goebbels)

“And behold in the end of this book ye shall see that this Gadianton did prove the overthrow, yea almost the entire destruction of the people of Nephi. Behold I do not mean the end of the book of Helaman, but I mean the end of the book of Nephi, from which I have taken all the account which I have written.” (Mormon, The Book of Mormon, Helaman 2:13.)

“We face the delicate question of the diplomatic fencing to be done so as to be sure Japan is put in the wrong and makes the first bad move — overt move…The question was how we should maneuver them into the position of firing the first shot without allowing too much danger to ourselves.” (Henry Stimson, Infamy: Pearl Harbor and its Aftermath, p. 275-76. October 16, 1941.)

“In a time of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” (George Orwell)

“Satan is making war against...the very foundations upon which society, government, and religion rest...He plans to destroy freedom–economic, political, and religious, and to set up in place thereof the greatest, most widespread, and most complete tyranny that has ever oppressed men. He is working under such perfect disguise that many do not recognize either him or his methods. There is no crime he would not commit, no debauchery he would not set up, no plague he would not send, no heart he would not break, no life he would not take, no soul he would not destroy. He comes as a thief in the night; he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Without their knowing it, the people are being urged down paths that lead only to destruction...” (David O. McKay, Conference Report, p. 13. October 1942.)

“Since about the time of Woodrow Wilson, Fabian Socialists have been able to cuddle close to key people in our government and those who exercise influence. I will not take the time to trace their activities through the various administrations since Wilson’s time.” (Ezra Taft Benson, A Race Against Time, BYU Speeches, 1963.)

“And the regulations of the government were destroyed, because of the secret combination of the friends and kindreds of those who murdered the prophets…notwithstanding they [the tribes] were not a righteous people, yet they were united in the hatred of those who had entered into a covenant to destroy the government.” (Mormon, 3 Nephi, Book of Mormon, 7:6,11.)

“If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.” (James Madison)

“The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.” (James Madison)

“[The war in heaven], so bitter, so intense, has never ceased. It is the war between truth and error, between agency and compulsion….His enemies have used every stratagem in that conflict. They’ve indulged in lying and deceit. They’ve employed money and wealth. They’ve tricked the minds of men. They’ve murdered and destroyed and engaged in every kind of evil practice to thwart the work of Christ.(Gordon B. Hinckley, An Unending Conflict, a Victory Assured, Ensign, June 2007.)

“Pride results in secret combinations which are built up to get power, gain, and glory of the world. This fruit of the sin of pride, namely secret combinations, brought down both the Jaredite and the Nephite civilizations and has been and will yet be the cause of the fall of many nations.(Ezra Taft Benson, Beware of Pride, Ensign, May 1989.)

“We are going through what J. Reuben Clark, Jr., once termed the greatest propaganda campaign of all time. We cannot believe all we read, and what we can believe is not all of the same value. We must sift. We must learn by study and prayer.” (Ezra Taft Benson, The Teachings of Ezra Taft Benson, p. 302.)

“The ravening wolves are amongst us, from our own membership, and they, more than any others, are clothed in sheep's clothing, because they wear the habiliments of the priesthood…We should be careful of them.” (J. Reuben Clark, Conference Report, April 1949.)

“These things are beginning to spread among and permeate the nations of the earth. Do we expect them? Yes. These secret combinations were spoken of by Joseph Smith, years and years ago. I have heard him time and time again tell about them, and he stated that when these things began to take place the liberties of this nation would begin to be bartered away.” (John Taylor, Journal of Discourses, 22: 138 - 139. July 3, 1881.)

“Today, America would be outraged if UN troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all people of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government.” (Henry Kissinger, at the 1991 Bilderberger Conference held in Evians, France. 1991.)

“Secret combinations flourished because, as Helaman tells us, the Gadianton robbers ‘had seduced the more part of the righteous until they had come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils’ (Helaman 6:38)... even as today.” (Ezra Taft Benson, The Savior’s Visit to America, Ensign, p. 4. May 1987.)

“Moroni wasn’t speculating about a conspiracy, he said very plainly that in our day there would be the same kind of secret combination, at the head of government, that was the cause of the destruction of both the Jaredite and Nephite civilizations. He said our duty was to not turn a blind eye to it, or pretend that it doesn’t exist, but do everything in our power to expose it and overthrow it. He also taught us how to identify it. And just to be sure, so that we would be left without excuse, prophets in our day have confirmed it. But the only thing I hear in the latter-day saint community, as with the rest of the world, when someone asserts “conspiracy” is to ridicule and get angry, or ignore the person making the assertion. If someone has evidence of what Moroni said would be among us, you would think that latter-day saints of all people would want to know what it was, and study it out.

“We fail to realize the magnitude of what we’re facing, and the result is a more casual attitude about the gospel, than what would be if we were armed with the truth.” (M B, September 14, 2008.)

“In [General Alexander Haig's] presence, Kissinger referred pointedly to military men as ‘dumb, stupid animals to be used’ as pawns for foreign policy.” (Henry Kissinger, in a book by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein (Simon & Schuster, 1976) The Final Days, p. 194.)

“There is something behind the throne greater than the king himself.” (Sir William Pitt, House of Lords, 1770.)

“The world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.” (Benjamin Dislaeli, First Prime Minister of England 1844.)

“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.” (President Woodrow Wilson, a few years before his death in reference to the Federal Reserve act of 1913, which he signed into law. The American Mercury‎, p. 56. 1919.)

“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” (Scriptural, Bible, Psalm, 94:16.)

“We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.” (David Rockefeller, Statement to the United Nations Business Council, September 23, 1994.)

“For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as "internationalists" and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.” (David Rockefeller, Memoirs, p. 405. 2002.)

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national determination practiced in past centuries.” (David Rockefeller, speaking at the June 1991, Bilderberg meeting in Baden-Baden, Germany June 1991.)

“Gadianton robbers fill the judgment seats in many nations. An evil power seeks to overthrow the freedom of all nations and countries.” (Elder Bruce R. McConkie, Ensign, p. 71. May 1980.)

“Any nation that permits a secret combination to gain control of its government shall be destroyed; such is the everlasting decree of a just God.” (Elder Bruce R. McConkie, The Millennial Messiah: The Second Coming of the Son of Man, p. 65. 1982.)

“Princes and nations shall vanish from the earth. the human race will then become one family, and the world will be he dwelling of rational men.” (Professor Johann Adam Weishaupt)

“The Association of which I have been speaking, is the Order of Illuminati, founded in 1775, by Dr. Adam Weishaupt, professor of Canon law in the university of Ingolstadt.” (John Robison, Proofs of a Conspriacy, p. 9. 1798.)

“The great strength of our Order lies in its concealment; let it never appear in any place in its own name, but always covered by another name, and another occupation.” (Professor Johann Adam Weishaupt, Proofs of a Conspriacy, p. 112.)

“The great and good ends proposed by the Illuminati as the ultimate objects of their union, are the overthrow of religion, government, and human society civil and domestic.” (Yale Professor Timothy Dwight, The American Mind: selections from the literature of the United States, p. 220. 1798.)

“I think the Communist conspiracy is merely a branch of a much bigger conspiracy.” (Dr. Bella V. Dodd, former U.S. Communist Party leader The Naked Capitalist, 1970.)

“Mr. Chairman, when the Fed was passed, the people of these United States did not perceive that a world system was being set up here...and that this country was to supply the financial power to an international superstate.” (Congressman Louis McFadden, Hearings by United States. Congress. House. Committee on Rules, June 10, 1932.)

“The Council on Foreign Relations is the American branch of a society which originated in England [and] believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.” (Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope, A History of the World in Our Time, p. 951. 1966.)

“Again I warn that there are amongst us evil influences plotting and conspiring to destroy all that we hold sacred in our Church and in the nation. If we shall fall asleep to these dangers, we shall some day awaken to find ourselves their slavish victims.” (J. Reuben Clark, Conference Report, October 1939.)

“The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings.” (President John F. Kennedy, Address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961.)

“There also exists another alliance — at first glance a strange one… the alliance between or Communist leaders and your capitalists. This alliance is not new… We observe continuous and steady support by the businessmen of the West of the Soviet Communist leaders.” (Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsyn, Congressional Record, Proceedings of the 94th Congress, Volume 121, Part 17, pp. 21453. July 8, 1975.)

“Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective—a new world order—can emerge.” (George H. W. Bush, A Speech given to a joint session of the United States Congress, September 11, 1990.)

“In defense of the World Order... U.S. soldiers would have to kill and die.… We are not going to achieve a New World Order without paying for it in blood, as well as in words and money.” (Aurthur Schlesinger Jr. Foreign Affairs, 1995.)

“Those who subscribe to this [totalitarian] philosophy stop at nothing to achieve their ends...force, trickery, lies, broken promises, mayhem, and individual and mass murder.” (Ezra Taft Benson, Conference Report, October 1960.)
